10 Gifts I Hope to Get This Year
10 Gifts I hope to get for Christmas
With the holidays fast approaching, I’ve put together a list of items that I hope to get. If you have someone on your list that loves chickens, any of these would be a great gift.

A good pair of boots or shoes to work in the yard or coop makes a great gift. I have a pair of these Sloggers and wear them everywhere especially when it’s raining. They are soft, flexible, and comfortable. In addition to the chicken print, they are also available in a few other styles including, goats, horses, and cows.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to take my lunch to work more. I’d love a cute bag like this one .
Next on my list is this egg gathering apron. Not only can you use it when gathering eggs but also great when working in the kitchen. There has been many times when I’ve collected eggs and put in my jacket pocket only to forget about them and have them crack! What a mess!
I need an updated spoon rest for the stove. Either one of these would look great in my kitchen. Hint Hint
How about a cute soap dish for the kitchen or bath?
I can always use another chicken t-shirt. I tend to live in these lately.
An extra salt and pepper shaker is always needed at my house. Seriously! How cute are these:
When my boys were young, I used a chicken timer like this for time out. I would love to have one in my kitchen now to use when baking. When my hands are wet or dirty, I hate trying to set the timer on my phone.
2 items I have that would make a perfect gift:
Fresh eggs can be kept on the counter if not washed. This egg skelter is amazing and a great way to display your girls accomplishments.
When your girls first start laying, their eggs can be all different shapes and sizes. Using this scale can take the guess work out when using eggs for recipes and makes a great addition in the kitchen.

Great blog and great ideas. We have some of these. When we show the house, we leave the fresh eggs in the wire basket to show of the girls accomplishment and because they are part of our home! This is so cute!!
